Preparation Or Source Of Fluorosilicone Rubber
It is synthesized from carbon tetrafluoride and ethylene as starting materials. It can be prepared by catalytic polymerization of trimethyltri(3-fluoropropyl)cyclotrisiloxane and a small amount of tetramethyltetravinylcyclotetrasiloxane (containing a small amount of end-capping agent) in the presence of a catalyst.
On the basis of maintaining the heat resistance, cold resistance, high voltage resistance and weather aging resistance of silicone materials, FVMQ fluorosilicone O-rings also have the excellent properties of organic fluorine materials due to the introduction of fluorine-containing groups. Resistant to hydrogen-based solvents, oils, acids and alkalis and lower surface energy properties.
