Classification Of Fluororubber
Fluorine rubber 23, commonly known as No. 1 rubber in China, is a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and chlorotrifluoroethylene.
Fluorine rubber 26, commonly known as No. 2 rubber in China, DuPont brand VITON A, is a copolymer of vinylidene fluoride and hexafluoropropylene, and its comprehensive performance is better than No. 1 rubber.
Fluorine rubber 246, commonly known as No. 3 rubber in China, DuPont brand VITON B, is a terpolymer of vinylidene fluoride, tetrafluoroethylene, and hexafluoropropylene. The fluorine content is higher than that of 26 rubber, and it has good solvent resistance.
Fluorine rubber TP, commonly known as tetrapropylene rubber in China, and AFLAS brand of Asahi Glass, is a copolymer of tetrafluoroethylene and hydrocarbon propylene, which has excellent water vapor resistance and alkali resistance.
Vinylidene fluoride rubber, DuPont brand VITON GLT, is a tetrapolymer copolymer of vinylidene fluoride, tetrafluoroethylene, perfluoromethyl vinyl ether, and vulcanization point monomer, with excellent low temperature performance.
Perfluoroether rubber, DuPont brand KALREZ, has excellent high temperature resistance, high fluorine content, and excellent solvent resistance.
Fluorosilicone rubber with excellent low temperature performance and certain solvent resistance.
DuPont is not the only supplier of fluororubber. In the Chinese market, suppliers of imported fluororubber include 3M in the United States, Daikin in Japan and Solvay in Europe.
Our own domestic products include 3F, Chenguang, Dongyue and so on.
Viton is mainly used in the automobile and motor vehicle industries. Due to its excellent performance in high temperature resistance, oil resistance and medium resistance, it is mainly used as oil seals and O-rings.
